I Saw the Sun (Güneşi Gördüm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Kırmızıgül. In the film two brothers go on opposite sides in a Turkish-Kurdish conflict| it opened at the number one position at the Turkish box office in 2009. The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009.。绰号“疤痢”的宋福旺是全村的首富。一天村秘书领来了三级妇联的领导要参观宋家办的“幸福幼儿园”。这一下让宋福旺傻了眼。原来，办幼儿园只是他的一句玩笑话，不料竟被秘书当做先进事迹报了上去。万般无奈之下，宋福旺只好向学校借来老师和学生，上演了一出假戏。妇联的人走后，家人都用鄙视的眼光看着宋福旺，街上的孩子时无忌惮地喊他“疤痢”，这让他感到颜面扫地。宋福旺逐步认识到了自己的问题，终于下决心义务办起一个“幸福幼儿园”，并重新获得了家人和乡亲们理解和尊重。。
