故事发生在名叫雀原中学的学校之中，旋风小依（花守由美里配音）是这里初来乍到的转校生。小依非常热爱乒乓球这项运动，在曾经生活过的地方，她拥有着县4位的耀眼排名。小依的到来，很快就在雀原中学里挂起了一股乒乓球风潮。 擅长抽球式打法，被誉为抽球四天王之一的上矢阿贺里（田中美海配音）、家里经营着乒乓球店，总是能够为客人提供超适合他们的球拍的出云北斗（桑原由气配音）、在北斗的店里打工的天下花火（高野麻里佳配音）、成熟温柔的副部长大宗梦音（今村彩夏配音）和球风十分凌厉的部长后手纪留香（东城日沙子配音），小依很快就结识了一群志同道合的朋友们。。White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。
